Chautauqua Bodies

In the summer of 2025, I had the good fortune to have a two week residency at the Chautauqua Institute. I spent the time painting figures, some invented and some appropriated, in imagined spaces of implied but ambiguous narrative. This was a wonderful period of open ended exploration for me.
All the works were done with acrylic gouache and pastel on paper.
