Paintings on Paper, Panel and Canvas

​​I make a lot of small paintings of places. These are places that catch my eye because of a particular relationship of light, color and geometry that feels jewel-like, almost as though I am seeing them through a kaleidoscope.  These little studies are ways to think through those relationships.

Horizon Lines

Horizon Lines is a series of images that reflect the expansiveness of experiencing a new horizon when traveling. All of these paintings commemorate a place of great beauty that lived on in my imagination after leaving it.
