“Out in Yonkers” comes down! Deinstallation! What an extraordinary experience it has been to create and exhibit this work. The show took on a life of its own. Many thanks to ArtsWestchester for supporting my project, to all my subjects for agreeing to be “Out in Yonkers”, to the White Plains Library staff, especially Assistant Director Kathy Degyansky, for the amazing support and enthusiasm for this exhibit, to all my family, friends and interested public who made their way to WPL to see the show and shared their love, and last but never least,Eileen, my mainstay in all things. “Out in Yonkers” will appear again in other venues. So stay tuned for that and other OiY news. Good things are coming.
